We analyzed the entire homebuilding process and identified potential stressors—then we removed them. It's our 7-step Right Way Home™ process.
The approach—woman-centric design
Most homes are designed by men, but it's the woman of the house who determines how a home is used. We focus on her.
What is her style preference? How does she manage her family? What does her day look like? Then we design a home that fits her needs, concentrating on:
Storage and organization
Orange for storage including added space in the garage and laundry room; generous kitchen pantries and linen closets; over-sized bedroom closets and additional unfinished areas in the basement or upper level
Entertaining preferences
Yellow for formal rooms for entertaining; informal, open living spaces; outdoor “rooms;” kitchens; and rooms for media-related get-togethers
Flexible living
Green to designate rooms for flexible living that can be adapted to unique situations such as in-law-suites; home offices; bedroom/bath arrangements for blended families, etc.
De-stressing
Blue for areas to de-stress such as personal getaways, including a private master suite; a walk-in shower or whirlpool; a quiet porch or craft area

The first step uncovers the details of your dream home. We use our real estate knowledge and our exclusive in house designer to help you create your vision. We’ll sit down with you to discuss all the details and present option packages to define your home. These packages not only simplify the process; they also allow you to finalize prices so you know the cost of your home from the beginning.
Building Your Team
The Visualization Snapshot™
Before any construction begins, we bring together your entire team, including the project coordinator and the builder, who will be responsible for turning your dreams into reality. This ensures complete understanding of your vision by everyone involved and establishes a framework for seamless communication of your ideas through construction. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to get answers to any remaining questions.
The Personal Touch
The Creation Advantage™
This is your first opportunity to reach out and touch what is becoming a reality. During this on-site meeting with your team prior to drywall installation, you’ll get a complete tour and electrical walk-through. It enables you to see firsthand the quality and craftsmanship of your home, its features and the options you have selected.
Taking Care of the Details
The Inspection Preview™
Heritage Homes maintains strict standards for quality and the Inspection Preview™ allows us to ensure they are being met. In this step, our experts tour your home to conduct a complete and thorough inspection. We make sure any final repairs or touch-ups are made before you take your final walk-through.
Time to Get Excited
The Orientation Event™
The Orientation Event™ is a formal tour with our service team. We’ll go room to room and discuss in detail the features and amenities you have selected, along with explanations and complete operating procedures. You also will receive our exclusive Heritage Homes Warranty Kit™, which contains a wealth of information and manuals for everything in your home.

The Celebration Ceremony™
Congratulations! At this step, you’ve reached the beginning of a lifetime in your dream home. We’ll take this opportunity to thank you for building it with Heritage Homes and make sure you get off to a great start. After we’ve taken care of all the arrangements for the closing, we’ll present you with your exclusive, one-of-a-kind closing kit that includes your keys.
